It's lovely place for sightseeing and exploring Cambridge. The location was central. The bed was comfortable, we truly enjoyed it.
Our breakfast was very basic. It's not their fault, but the street was noisy.
-
It was a 3-star hotel in every way. It is very clean, great property, that has very good location and staff. We had a park view from our room. We enjoyed to chill in the nearby de luca cucina & bar...
-
Quite, clean and comfortable room in a busy location. Very convenient to go around in Cambridge.
-
Great location - walking distance to town center.
No on site parking but street parking and multi story close by.
-
The location - distance from train station and shops, price, and it was clean. The instructions were clear how to get into the b and b and there were maps a available.
the breakfast there was not enough pastries for everyone
-
The blind was not working, we had a hard time to open or close it. Toilet was not working. There was no air condition in the room, which might be normal in England but when you open the window it was very noisy until around midnight. There was no shampoo or soap provided.
-
convenient location between the station and the colleges
noisy

Regency House is exactly what it claims to be! Clean, comfortable and unpretentious. Our room had everything we needed for our short stay: freeview TV, radio, hair-dryer, tea and coffee etc, and the continental breakfast was fabulous! We did have one small problem but this was dealt with promptly and effectively ...we also received an apology from the management which was all that was necessary. Thank-you! This guest-house is in a central location:-.great for shopping, restaurants, entertainment and with convenient transport links, so don't expect it to be quiet. Don't be put off by the fact that staff aren't always present. The house is secure and the arrangements for self-check-in are straightforward. Communications throughout the booking process were excellent. We had a lovely time!

Good location.
Tiny room at ridiculously high price. Breakfast only available for one hour, from 8-9. Noisy due to pub next door. No secure luggage storage.
-
We were aghast to be charged £720 for two nights' lodging -- about twice the rate of a five star hotel. Room cramped. Interior bathroom/toilet had no exhaust fan, and several potentially dangerous wall switches. Venetian blinds broken. Visiting the guest house to see my surgeon prior to open heart surgery, my wife and I felt gouged and ripped off by a management determined to fleece its guests of their money.
-
That we could come and go as we pleased as there was a code to the door rather than a lock up time. We liked the size of the room and that we had an ensuite.
That we were only supplied two pillows on the double bed and not four. The staff were an hour away and there were no evident spares.
-
Cleanliness, brightness, quietness, helpfulness of staff and civilised surroundings within the hotel.
-
The room was very clean and in a good central location.
The room was hot and I had to prop the window open using my bottle of water. The continental breakfast sounded wonderful but in reality was a bit lacking - whilst the croissants were nice, there was no other bread rolls available - no cheese on the second morning.I booked the hotel to visit friends who were celebrating a birthday
-
Very accommodating staff, happy to let me leave my luggage which I appreciated.
-
Nice breakfest (fresh fruits and breads) and friendly reception providing information I need.
Price was quite expensive to a simple guest house accomodation.
